1. Controller

SB-Elektronik GmbH & Co. KG

Schömberger Straße 67–69, 72336 Balingen, Germany

Email: datenschutz@sb-elektronik.com

Phone: +49 7433 997420

2. Purpose of processing

We process your input (5 free-text answers, name, company, email, optionally phone) solely to calculate a use case score (RICE), display the result, confirm it via email and — if you consent — contact you for an in-depth consultation.

There is no automated decision-making within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR. The score is a consulting indicator, not a legally binding assessment.

3. Legal basis

Processing is based on your consent (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR) and on the initiation of a contractual relationship (Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR). You may withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future — a short email to datenschutz@sb-elektronik.com is sufficient.

4. Processors

We use the following service providers, with whom we have concluded data processing agreements under Art. 28 GDPR:

OpenRouter Inc. (USA) — AI-assisted calculation of the use case score. Data is transferred to US servers as part of the processing. Basis: EU Standard Contractual Clauses (SCC).

Google Ireland Ltd. (Ireland) — Storage of input in Google Sheets. Basis: contract within the EU; insofar as data is transferred to Google US, on the basis of SCCs.

Resend Inc. (USA) — Sending of confirmation and notification emails. Basis: SCCs.

5. Retention period

We store your data for a maximum of 24 months after the last contact. On request, we will delete your data immediately at any time.

6. Your rights

You have the right to access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20), objection (Art. 21) and withdrawal of consent (Art. 7 (3) GDPR).

Please direct enquiries to datenschutz@sb-elektronik.com.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority — the responsible authority is the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information of Baden-Württemberg.

7. Tracking, analytics, cookies

We do not use any tracking tools (e.g. Google Analytics, Meta Pixel) or non-essential cookies on this subdomain. Only technically necessary cookies (e.g. for language selection) are used.

8. Third-country transfer

As part of processing by OpenRouter Inc. and Resend Inc., data is transferred to the United States. The basis is the conclusion of EU Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs). An adequate level of protection is additionally safeguarded by internal technical and organisational measures.
